Training Programme - VET Trainers
The Partners are developing a comprehensive training programme to train the VET trainers in Kenya. They are developing appropriate training modules for Kenyan VET staff focusing on new pedagogics, new VET tools, steps for quality assessment, how to address difficult pedagogic cases, among others.
The training programme will ensure that Kenyan VET trainers have the tools to develop their skills in the field of management, governance, innovation and particularly internationalisation. The introduction of best European VET practices will enhance the technical, managerial skills of Kenyan VET trainers.
Working with the European VET institutions, Kenyan VET trainers will have the opportunity to improve their input into the curriculum and effective profile design.
THE MODULES
The VET Train the Trainers Programme will be presented in a series of self-contained online modules that can be taken individually, until the training is completed.
By having the training distributed through a series of self-contained modules participants will be able to access the information in a time-sensitive manner that fits their individual time constraints.
Upon completion of the entire series, the VET trainers will be able to access and print a certificate showing that they have successfully completed the training.
The modules will be created on a recognized, secure, and fully accessible learning management system (LMS), which will be available via this page.
